The Gambia ~ A Birdwatcher's Paradise

With MODOU BARRY, Birdwatching Guide

I am a well known Gambian Ornithologist, with over 10 years' experience.

I can arrange bird watching trips during your holiday, throughout the
length and breadth of The Gambia, at very reasonable cost.

Member of the RSPB and WABSA and listed in the Bradt Guide to The Gambia.

Some of the coastal areas that we can visit:

Koto Stream, Cape Creek and Crocodile Pool, Bund road, the Lamin rice fields, Yundum, Tanji Nature Reserve and the Faraba Banta Bush Track Bird Reserve, Brufut forest, Marakissa rice fields, Pirang Fish Ponds, Abuko Nature Reserve.

If you have a few days to spare there are more exotic species further up country :

For example: Tendaba Camp, Georgetown or Basse Santa Su. This would involve 2 nights and 3 days or 3 nights and 4 days.
The cost would include accommodation, creek trip at Tendaba, guiding and transport.

. . . . from Goliath Heron to Egyptian Plover, Carmine Bee-eater to African Golden Oriole,
Red-Legged Fin Foot to White Backed Night Heron
